Christian-Guidance.com was created by Christian Counseling & Educational Services (Hanover, Pennsylvania) out of a desire to offer biblically-based advice and guidance to those who are not in our local area. Our consulting experts are ready and willing to assist you with difficulties regarding relationships, spiritual issues, personal concerns and more. Our Staff:
Ann Shorb, Ph.D.
Dr. Ann Shorb has been involved in various Christian ministries for more than four decades. She is a teacher and speaker, a free-lance writer, and a Christian counselor. She has been married 35 years and has two grown children and two adorable little granddaughters.
Ann and her husband, Dr. Timothy Shorb, have served as missionaries in Africa, Europe, and the United States. For the last 22 years they have resided in Hanover, Pennsylvania where Tim serves as President of International Partnership Ministries and Ann maintains a practice in Christian counseling. In addition, she is a frequent guest speaker at retreats, seminars, and other gatherings.
Ann holds a B.S. and an M.A.T. in Elementary Education, and a Ph.D. in Biblical Counseling. For the past fifteen years she has done professional counseling, and is the founder and director of Christian Counseling and Educational Services located in Hanover, PA.
In 1999 Ann and a group of friends formed Daystar Production company as a part of York Community Access Television in York, Pennsylvania. She has been the producer and host of Women on the Move, a program that deals with issues women face in today's world. she has also co-produced and co-hosted It's About Time with her husband, Tim.
Ann shares her many years of experience in the Understanding and Teaching . . . video series. These programs are designed to give insight and understanding of various problems to schoolteachers, church workers and others that work with children. Click here for more information.
